Your website is the foundation of AI authority.
A site below 70 is not ready to compete in the AI recommendation layer. Salienci scores six readiness dimensions and outputs a composite score.
What is Website Authority Readiness?
Website Authority Readiness is a composite score Salienci assigns across six dimensions - trust, clarity, conversion, AI/SEO, performance, and maintainability - that determine whether a site is fit to be recommended by AI systems. It is distinct from the K-Matrix, which scores off-site and entity signals; readiness scores the site itself as the surface those signals depend on.

Why does website readiness gate AI recommendation?
AI engines route recommendations to sites they can crawl, parse, and trust; a low-readiness site blocks that path regardless of how strong its off-site authority is. Readiness gates every later gain from the AEO+ framework - improving extraction or authority signals produces limited return if the underlying site cannot be accessed or trusted.
What each dimension measures.
Each of the six dimensions below measures a distinct condition for AI and human trust - from brand credibility cues to raw performance - and is scored independently so remediation can target the weakest dimension first rather than treating the site as a single pass/fail check.
Premium Trust
Brand cues, design quality, visible proof, and category positioning that signal credibility to AI evaluators.
Clarity
Information architecture, naming, content structure, and entity disambiguation.
Conversion
Decision paths, friction reduction, and intent-to-action efficiency.
AI / SEO Readiness
Crawl access, schema, llms.txt, brand-facts.json, and answer-extraction readiness.
Performance
Core Web Vitals, render performance, and AI crawler response stability.
Maintainability
Operational ability to ship signal improvements quickly and safely.

What readiness work can and cannot change
Readiness work removes the technical and structural reasons an AI system cannot reach, parse or reuse your content. It cannot manufacture third-party corroboration, and it does not override an engine's own preference for sources it already trusts.
Who owns the work
Most fixes sit with web engineering and content owners; a minority require legal or brand sign-off on how facts are stated publicly.
Typical sequence
Access first, then extraction, then corroboration. Fixing selection signals before access is wasted effort, because the content is never retrieved.
How progress is judged
Re-diagnosis against the same query set, reviewed as a trend. The methodology documents the confidence limits that apply.
