Three ways to work with Salienci.

Every engagement begins with the diagnostic. What comes after depends on how much of the operation you want us to run.

Free diagnostic

Authority Audit

The Authority Audit is a complete diagnostic across Access, Extraction, and Selection that shows exactly where AI answer engines are failing to recommend your brand today. It is delivered as a Salienci Score, K-Matrix map, and prioritized gap list you can act on immediately.

  • ·Full AEO+ diagnostic
  • ·Salienci Score & readiness grade
  • ·Prioritized gap sequence
  • ·Competitor recommendation gap
Diagnostic + engineering

Authority Build

Authority Build takes the audit findings and turns them into sequenced implementation work - access, extraction, and schema engineering plus selection signal engineering - scoped per engagement so effort goes where it moves the Salienci Score fastest.

  • ·Everything in Audit
  • ·Sequenced implementation
  • ·Access, extraction & schema engineering
  • ·Selection signal engineering
Ongoing operation

Authority Defend

Authority Defend keeps a brand's recommendation position once it is earned, through continuous citation velocity tracking, freshness maintenance, competitor movement monitoring, and quarterly re-diagnosis as AI engines change their behavior.

  • ·Citation velocity monitoring
  • ·Freshness & entity maintenance
  • ·Competitor watch
  • ·Quarterly re-diagnosis

How assessment, implementation and monitoring differ

Assessment measures where your recommendation position stands today. Implementation changes the signals that constrain it. Monitoring keeps the position once it is earned. Each engagement category does one of those jobs, and they are deliberately not bundled.

Assessment

A measured baseline across Access, Extraction and Selection, delivered as a diagnostic before any remediation work is scoped.

Implementation

Sequenced engineering against the audit findings, scoped per engagement so effort goes where measurement says it matters.

Monitoring

Continuous measurement of citation movement, competitor change, and freshness, with periodic re-diagnosis as engines change behaviour.

Which engagement suits which team

Choose by the decision you need to make next, not by budget. Teams without a baseline should start with the audit; teams with a baseline and internal capacity usually need implementation; teams already holding a position need monitoring.

No baseline yet

Marketing or executive teams who need a measured position before committing budget should start with the Authority Audit.

Baseline, limited capacity

Teams that know their gaps but lack in-house engineering for entity, schema, and answer structure work fit Authority Build.

Position already earned

Teams whose recommendation position matters commercially and must not decay fit Authority Defend.

What we need from you

Every engagement needs the same small set of inputs: the domain to measure, the category and buyer questions that matter, the competitors you consider relevant, and a named owner who can approve changes.

  • Domain and category

The property to measure and the buying category it competes in, so probe questions reflect real demand.

  • Competitive set

The brands you consider comparable. Comparisons are only reported where both sides are measured the same way.

  • Publishing access

For implementation work, a route to publish approved changes - directly or through your own team.

  • A decision owner

One named person who can approve scope and sequencing, so remediation is not blocked mid-engagement.

How to decide between engagements

Use four criteria: whether you hold a measured baseline, whether the constraint is technical or editorial, whether your team can implement, and whether the position has to be defended over time. Scope and commercial terms are agreed per engagement rather than published as fixed packages.
